America is a society of victims, therefore you'll always find people who will side with "victims."
Right because animals know they are killing a mother of 3 children and as a result the litter should be punished.
Your arguement is a colossal FAIL

I think he was saying that they were more concerned about the animals than the children of the dead mother.

I think we should give osama jr a birth certificate and he could take Biden's spot on the 2012 ticket. Think of all the great RAP songs that could be written about Obama-Osama-Yo Momma! Could be very curturally enlightening.

And it would be even a better deterrent than Biden is to some one wanting to take out the Pres.

I kind of liked the "Anthrax Letter" myself. In case anyone has misjudged me, I'm NOT a "bleeding heart".

Correct; human compassion would say that BOTH the children and the litter should be taken care of. And even the mother mountain lion's actions were not evil or malicious -- it's a wild animal doing what wild animals do. OBL's actions are not in the same category.

His son has the legal right to sue and the US has the legal right to dismiss.

The case reminds me of a few months ago when the city of Baghdad filed suit against the US for the "damage" resulting from the blast walls the US Army installed between neighborhoods during the height of the sectarian violence going on -- that is, to help prevent the citizens of Baghdad from continuing to slaughter each other. Plenty of people were pissed about that, but just like this case, Baghdad has the right to file suit and the US has the right to dismiss.

Nicely stated, RSchnier! It's refreshing to see a note of sanity in this forum now and then.

It's all about politics and lawyers. We need to send them to the front lines, then things will get settleled quickly and fairly.
