I was told once that if you carry garbage it will get on you.

Now I understand that the Tea Party isn't a "organization" per se. I have seen those under the guise of representing the Tea Party holding racist signs and yelling racial slurs at those that oppose them.

One protest a Tea Party group I witnessed was outside of a local Post Office. They were a small group but all had the same message and it was quite racist.

Are they all racist? Of course not but there is that element there and I don't see a huge push back or leaders denouncing those ideas either.

This goes on in all groups but guys like this stand out and until someone denounces him it is the same as supporting him.

I think he is an idiot and he should be deported personally for spewing the hate and venom he speaks.

300 views and 3 people denounce the guy, but all the usual suspects remain silent <------ crickets ------>

1 guy still shrieking because that's what he does best.

Would it kill anyone on the right to say "Hey, that maniac doesnt speak for me and I don't condone his message"

It would give you more credibilty but the truth is many people watched that video and secretly agreed with the guy but are too gutless to say anything.

dum de dum dum dum

I didn't watch the video, I usually don't whach that kind of junk. But since big brother Habbs is keeping score I didn't want to be counted as one of the silent spectators.

You guys are absolutly right the TeaParty should throw that guy out and burn his membership card. Now if I only knew the name of the head of the Tea Party (you guys all know who I'm talking about, right?) Then I'd write him/her a letter and complain.

Habbs some day you are going to hafta pull that Evenrude out of the outhouse!

Time to employ what a truly intelligent person once said and "ignore ignorant people", and I'm not talking about the video's either, more like "north of the border whack jobs". This country is going downhill like a greased sled, and "W" didn't grease the rails either!

If the Tea Party is truly a grassroots movement comprised of concerned citizens of the US, then Habs is beginning in the right place with such drivel as this YouTube. The grassroots needs to respond this time and every time someone like this steps forward and spouts his/her nonsense in the name of the Tea Party. Anonymity is a great thing for such movements because it allows all people to participate, but the unintended consequence is nut jobs that voice their vile agenda under cover of the movement's name. A by-product is some of the alleged Tea Party members that quietly condone this sort of garbage and allow it, through silence, to be linked to their legitimacy.

Oh, and then we have Code.... Code, Code, Code.... all grown up and you still talk like that.... tsk, tsk, tsk!!

This actually a very good question and the answer is they, really aren't a party in the same sense as a Democrat or Republican. Right now they are more a movement than an actual political party. They're most influential with the major parties by bringing them back to the fiscal right. As long as they stay a movement and don't break away they can influence both parties. As soon as they break away and form their own party, neither major party will give two squirts what the Tea Party thinks or supports. Kind of like the two parties now. If the parties don't take the fiscal step to the right and the financial environment remains the same, or gets worse, the Tea Party will gain more following and power and perhaps in 2016 we might see them break away from all parties and run their own candidates. If they do form an actual political party I wouldn't expect them to have a viable presidential candidate until the 2020's. Their biggest problem, as I see it, is they are essentially a financial movement, their social issues are poorly defined and need to be developed if they were to break away from the major parties.

That was extremely well articulated. I think it wil fall on deaf ears because right now, the situation let's them have it both ways (as dishonest as it is) and I don't think there will be many people rushing to change it anytime soon.

So Habibi, you do know the actual meaning of "teabagger," right?

How it's not a mildly-disparaging term for someone affiliated with the Tea Party?

How it is a term for a sexual act involving part of the male genitalia, performed by another male?

Do you enjoy using such an offensive term for people who might not share the same political views are you do?

Actually I had no idea that in modern slag that was a sexually inappropraite term. I was using it as short for, easier to say than tea party member.

Wow, you're really desperate arnt you?
Don't feel bad, in 5 and a half years Obama will be gone.

I'm tired of getting called late for dinner.

Especially since I do all the cooking.

No respect........
