K-Mac - I liked your last post. It was thoughtful and well reasoned. I find I agree with almost every point but the first. I doubt Obama is going to get a lasting "lift" out of this, because we, the public, have very short memories. And, I suspect we've largely forgotten how much terror and destruction Bin Laden has brought to our shores.

In addition, there will be those who just can't help themselves for believing President Obama "ordered" this attack just to guarantee victory in 2012. They never stop to think, "Why didn't he wait until closer to election day?" From reading how closely the situation was monitored, I doubt a flea could have moved in or out of that compound unnoticed.

Is President Obama all "wonderful"? No - he's flawed, just like the rest of us. Was this a gutsy move on his part? You bet! If it had failed, he stood to lose everything. But, he put the interests of his Country above personal interests in "ordering" this attack, and doing it without notifying any of our "allies" or so-called allies (Pakistan). I am seeing a VERY "tough-minded" President here.

OK, so those are my thoughts and I'll fade back into the background now, where I try to stay in these "political debates" that no one wins.

Keep in mind.. it is likely that due to the time frames and some of the information so far released on this "courier" that led to the location being discovered... that previous interrogators and operators that were involved in torture are probably the the source of this important information.

sorry!
its more of a preventative measure.

if i come across someone in real life that I can't talk to or discuss stuff with, without them resorting to having to give their dumbass opinion on everything, I will not be talking to them again. same here. If someone is going to spew stupidity, I am going to flippin' ignore em'

Hey genius,

Obama is the Commander-in-Chief, he gets the credit whether you want to give it to him or not.

If this operation had failed and lives were lost as a result of President Obama's decision, all you little crybabies on the right would be shrieking at the top of your lungs about Obama's incompetence, and not the incompetence of the military.

I should give you guys a break though because it's been a rough week for all of you.

First the "long form" and now this. You useless hacks are probably so buttsore, you won't be able to sit down for a month.

Obama showed guts and leadership but some of you are so blinded by your hatred for the man, you still can't give credit where it's due.

Not upset by any means. Some people's lack of common sense extends to their digits, and I have the option to remove them as does every member on the site. You assume that is insulting to me, and you're mistaken.

I find you have a problem with me and that is fine. Just ignore me like I do the dolts for their ridiculous comments. Trust me, we'll both benefit from it.
