I'm conservative but have to say that I have never understood the popularity of Beck -- he comes across as a guy that doesn't even believe half the stuff he says and all he can do is snicker all the way to the bank.......

Beck's program airs on FOX news channel. Like CNN, MSNBC, and HLN, FOX News is a cable news channel. I don't believe that there is a dispute over whether Becks program is opinion and not the news. Like the other cable news channels, FOX News has news programming AND opinion programming. It's interesting that the anti-FOX News types believe that FOX News viewers, who number in percentages greater than any other cable news channel, are unable to tell the difference.
I know that many believe that this news somehow hurts conservatives. Like I said earlier, progressives center focus on FOX News. While doing so they aren't seeing the real situation, which is a growing number of Americans who are profoundly concerned about the rapid downward direction of our country.

lmao, hes a quirky dude.
I watch fox and msnbc and both opionionated shows are obviously centered towards either republicans or democrats. I dont center my hate around fox, thats just dumb, Its just a tv network.

I think if you check, you will see that he's had a pretty steady average. Sure there is a high and a low that is being reported in the media, but overall I believe that he's maintianed a steady average.
I guess the truth about his ratings area a moot point though. HE'S GONE!!!
