I listened to it on the way home from work. He never did really say anything (just like always). I was hoping for some good explainations of what was/is going on....it never came.

If you listened to the way he presented it, his verson was it was all about him and his leadership that put the coalition together, yea right! It was just another oportunity for him to spread more of his bill shut and talk about himself. Like always the words I and Me were the most used.

What a waste of good radio air time.

You've got to love it when the teleprompter speaks.

Why you always hate'n on Obama?

George W. Bush left him with....

I mean, he's just trying to earn that Nobel Peace prize.

I didn't watch the speech. I'll catch the highlights tomorrow. I'm sure that the MSM was elated.

He should have ended every other sentence with "if you have oil." Then it would be more believable. "We will help the people being killed by a tyrant, if you have oil." Seriously, he couldn't be more full of it. Never miss an opportunity to blame Bush for anything, either. Really, though, if he cared about people, we'd help Yemen, North Korea, Bahrain, etc..., but nope, they got no oil that we have an interest in. We're not wasting any time getting to Libya, though.

The main difference in the Libya assault is, We don't have to put troops on the ground, the people are already fighting a rebellion. Unlike Iraq, where the people are less educated and don't understand freedom. Libya already had a civil war started, and we are giving support. We had to move quickly so the rebellion didn't fizzle out.
The European countries will help the people of Libya, by setting up a Government that is pro freedom. Europe is the first to benefit from our intervention, and we do also. If the oil stops flowing, the European market will be bidding on the oil the rest of the World has been using. = double prices.

Someday, I might say Obama has some sense. But we all know he has strong supporters behind the TelePrompTer. But this is the first time that he has not dropped the ball.

This is the first time I give Obama a good "atta Boy". I never thought I would say that

The one downfall. When Qaddafi was in charge we knew where we stood, and now we don't know who will be next, but something had to change.
