I didn't get anything from your first link, but the second link that bow looks nice. Do shoot RH or LH? I Shoot LH and had a hard time finding anything in my draw length that was LH. Only bows I seen at the time draw length was too long or the company only offered RH bows.

I shoot RH, A guy that I work with shoots LH, and he said he has a hell of a time finding new bows. I deff. like the looks of the newer limbs coming back off the bow, rather than the cresant look, but I guess looks arn't what really matter.

Actually in this case it does, parallel limbs cancel out vibration and creates a smoother more forgiving bow, so not only does it look cool, it shoots better.

I tried to contact the second guy, but he must have written the wrong # on the add, because It's some girl who had no clue what I was talking about. Quite bummed, esp. with the new info I just found out about parallel limbs being better.

I seen the price. You are basing buying a used bow over spending 200 more dollars for a new one, that you know has never been dry fired, dropped from a tree....etc....You wont have to re-string it, it will fit you exactly how it should and if you go to who carries those bows you can get the sites and rest you are wanting to begin with instead of settling. Trust me and im sure the other guys will agree, you dont want to just settle. You wont be satisfied.
The parker bow was 499 and the alpine was 599. but it is a package bow and are equipped with some decent stuff on them already. drop away rest are around 100 bucks...a good quiver that doesnt weigh 40 lbs is 40-100 bucks, which in the long run i guarantee with those used bows you were looking at you will rip that stuff off and replace it anyway. Bass pro has some Bowtechs also that are package deals also, you catch a sale at cabelas or BP and you can get into a nice new bow for your price range equipped.
Anyhow its yo money in the end, as long as your happy thats what counts. Good luck-Smokey

I'm out for the year, but we do have a crossbow laying around..... I normally shoot a diamond razor edge. I like it, but it's due for a re-stringing.
