Yeah, they have had problems for a long time it seems... I remember them naming that community center after the drug dealer... i was like whattt?? It's crazy... she lived on 4th Street between Gandy and the Howard Franklin.. it wasn't horrible but it seemed like that area was on it's way down.. we moved about 2 years ago.
It's a very sad day for those officers..

Always sad to hear another brother/sister has ended their watch.

I remember seeing stats from mid January showing this was one of the deadliest years thus far for Officer deaths.

WA DOC had a Corrections Officer murdered about 2 weeks ago. Prior to that we had the Officer Brenton shooting on Halloween, the Lakewood 4 murdered a short time after, Pierce County Deputy murdered a few weeks after Lakewood and it goes on and on.

I'm getting tired of putting on my mourning band at work to covery my badge.

There were a couple of CHP Officers who were killed. All I can think about are those Oakland Officers who were killed.
