The Fiat commercial was okay, but it [the car] does look pretty neat. Did Ford air a commercial? I noticed they had a nice big blue sign hanging from the 'Dome.

Very moving commercial. Whether you like\dislike Eminem\Chrysler, the commercial really put things in to perspective. I liked it, gave me chills.

i liked it. but if you go 3 miles from downtown you will see more burned out buildings than you have ever seen in your life. and Caddys on 24" rims. ill have to go down there with my cam and take some pictures of the real detroit....

"Imported from detroit" i love it.

if it was a Challenger doing doughnuts it would have been alot better.

Eminem is a rich yob & I am real surprised that any self respecting company would pay him to do an advertisment!!

The local news here is all over that commercial... then the story right after that "on detroits east side an 89 year old man shot and killed while being robed.".....Detroit sucks. can we blow it up and start over??

I thought it was an amazing commercial especially being born and raised in Michigan seeing the same sights I recgonized.

Until eminem stepped out......What a tool, I hate Eminem. Why couldn't they actually have hired a REAL person that represents Michigan in a positive way, there are plenty of people from michigan that have gone on to great things and the best they can think of is eminem...Please

I heard their second choice was Kid Rock.

I thought the concept of the commercial was EXCELLENT, but the components where junk.

From a marketing perspective, who is targeted during commercial? The young and hip crowd. Who lives, eats, and sleeps NFL and most likely to follow every detail of NFL...the younger crowd. The Chrysler 200 is/was being marketed to the younger crowd.

However, I would never see someone like him driving a Chrysler, much less a 200.
Again, who better to market to a younger crowd than Eminem? Also being from the Motor City is icing on the cake.

Not at all. Toyota does it. 30 miles up the road is a Toyota plant that produces 2 vehicles (I can't for the life of me remember which ones). Anyway Toyota produces American made (foriegn owned) vehicles and competes.

You miss the point. Even in the commercial it says "a city that's been through hell." Chrysler is saying they're sticking with Detroit, even though it's been through hell and back. Detroit is a scum city, but Chrysler is making the effort to notify the American people that they're sticking with Detroit no matter what (for the Chrysler 200 anyway).

Because the Chrysler 200's target market is the younger generation. Eminem relates directly to their target market better than any other human being on this planet. Born and raised in Detroit. Lived in 8 mile (the ghetto), went from rags to riches and has saw first hand the ****hole that Detroit is, but yet he still reps Detroit. Much like Chrysler, it has been to hell and back and still sticking with Detroit.

Ya'll aren't understanding the concept at all. Chrysler's commercial was by far the best commercial out there, from a marketing perspective. It was very well put together, was very effective, and got it's message across. Or it should have anyway, but evidently ya'll are too worried about Eminem and Detroit and the looks of the car to wake up and connect the dots. I think Chrysler did more for repairing their image and further putting Chrysler back into the minds of consumers than any other commercial. I mean yeah Budlight had a few good ones, Doritos had a couple good ones...but really neither made me want to go out and buy either one. Neither does the Chrysler one, but it makes me re-respect their company and efforts to keep it American made. MRSP starting at $19,245 and 31 MPG....looks are decent for a 4 door.

Chrysler's commercial was heads above the others.
