Doesn't Fisher make lightweight fiberglass plows? I've never looked on their website.

I don't think it is a steel plow. I could be wrong though.

It would not be an obvious choice for a plough vehicle but I guess if it works what the hell??? People being creative in these tough times i guess!!!

Did not realize that. Saw the new 1/2 ton truck plows that the big 3 came out with, but somehow missed the Fisher Homesteader plow ( as PJB4x4 posted ).

The thread I saw was from some time ago, I would say 2007, and the ones in use had been for some time. Think it is more a case of use what you got, the type of person that is not in trouble these days.
