It pulls it but he said not as well as the 5.3 he had or the 302 he had. Not real sure how much it weighs. He's a painter so he has all of his painting equipment in it.

Nissan Titan is on the short list for my next truck. I love my F-150, but my old man's nissan is a nice vehicle.

Well he said if it wasn't for Chevy goin under he'd get a Chevy
The turning radius isn't any worse then an F150 which I never had a problem with. As for pulling power yea I bet it does suck. My F150 pulls my 29' camper just fine and a lot of people have claimed our F150's can't pull a turd off a sidewalk.

I won't claim it's the best pulling truck on the market nor the most reliable but claiming it can't outpull a 5.3 chevy is rediculous. My 5.4 tows a trailer better then my cousins similarily equipped 5.3 and the titan should tow just as good unless you get one with the pathetic 2.94 gears.

Theirs a lot of factors with towing then just a motor.

Me too. Guess everyone I know with a titan got lucky. They all haven't been any worse then a Ford,Chevy or Dodge.

Not my first choice either but I have respect for them and don't have a problem owning one.

I'M not the one that said it he was. I never rode in the thing so I wouldn't know, as a matter of fact I wouldn't want to ride in it.
He also told me one of his friends was at his house with an extended cab long bed F150 that backed into a spot by his garage in one shot that he has to take 2 shots at with the Titan.

Ya our F150's suck big time. Best in class towing and best selling truck.

I work at a Nissan dealership. DO NOT buy a Titan. Even though I work for the service department, I'm constantly being told by everyone (salespeople, techs, even the GM!!) that the Titan is terrid.

For me, personally, I could never purchase a foreign vehicle. I'd much rather have my dollars stay at home, even if I had to pay a tad more.....

Better get rid of all your other foreign products too. Cause we all know everything we buy is assembled and owned in the U.S.A.

Well i'm in the market for a new truck and have been exploring my options and sadly it's not looking good for Ford. I went too a nearby Nissan dealer yesterday and drove a 2011 Titan. This truck is pretty nice in my opinion. It was red with black fender flares. The interior was black with red stitching and looked pretty sweet. It had the Pro-4x package with 4wd,tow package, moon roof, power seats, locks, windows, console shifter and bluetooth. It was an impressive truck. My first time driving one. It has plenty of power and the 5 speed transmission was nice. The only problem was I wanted another Ford but when buying new vehicles I keep an open mind so I alway's drive the other offerings before buying. The $31,500 out the door price was pretty competitive also. Well today I stopped by the chevy dealership. Just looking at prices and options I left. In order too get one that looks good it's gonna cost almost $50,000 and this is with the 5.3 motor option. Then came the Ford dealership. Test drove a 2wd xlt 2011 crew cab with the 5.0. Highly impressed with this motor. It was faster and felt more powerful overall compared to the titan. This motor is a rocket and the trans was sweet as well. Ride quality is amazing and the new steering is so effortless. I was in love. The only problem was the price and options. Sinc, satellite radio and power seats, windows and locks was the only thing available on this truck and the only other 5.0 available was an extended cab.The interior wasn't even that impressive with the grey. Then came the sticker. $36,500 with only a $1,500 rebate before the taxes and other fees! So I decided too try and haggle on a 2010 model. The only one on the lot I liked was an xlt 4x4 with the 4.6 3valve motor. For $34,000 after the $4,500 rebate. I haggled with them for over 3 hours and couldn't get that price dropped any. So I went back too Nissan and tried on the Pro-4x model again and could only get them down another $500. So I started on another titan. This one was a silver 2wd with moonroof, console shifter, backup sensors, bluetooth, power rear window, black cloth seats, dvd player, runningboards and got him down too $20,660 out the door before adding in the trade on my truck. I didn't make the swap but unless something happens between now and tomorrow Ill be going too the darkside.

you must have started this thread looking for an argument...

The Titan looks ok to me, better than most of the competition. Not sure about it's durability as a work truck and it's long-term toughness, but I haven't really read or experienced too many major issues with them so far.
