If signing the title is all it takes then I am sure I can talk him into it.

You may need to get the sig notarized if he won't be with you.

He's just trading it to another person... if the titles are anything like they are in MO, all they need is a signature for person to person.

oh, I had no idea you were so brilliant, please feel free to school me about vehicles...

but first you need to finally tall your daddy into signing over his truck to you, so you can trade for your own truck

I can't believe I got put into my place and schooled about vehicles, I guess I need to go sit on my heated leather seats, whilst driving my supercahrged V-8 engine and listen to my dual exhaust system, but I'm torn as to which truck to drive and have the experience

Just wanted some inputs about my situation and how I could handle it the most efficiently, this website seems like a well put together one and I would expect the people browsing the website to be sophisticated enough to give me a straight non childish answer. Unfortunately you weren't able to provide my simple request maybe due to the fact you missed a couple years of evolution, who knows? However; for those of you who did help me I thank you very much.

In NC the signature has to be witnessed by a notary and stamped after you put the new owner's name on the title. Beware, once you do this the truck belongs to the other guy. It needs to be done at the same time the other guy signs his over to you. Be nice to Dad and get him to go with you.
