Question What is the best in-expensive rustproof oil?

I have been rust-proofing my 2005 F150 CrewCab 4x4 with my own rust proofing gun.

It is a Lemmer A460. What should I be using to combat the brine salt on the roads they use in Ontario?

I guess the other factors are what oil will not dry out rubber or rubber seals on the truck?

Danke!

You're looking for Corrosion Free 3000. The State uses it here on coastal trucks to stop the saltwater from eating them alive. It works and will not hurt rubber or silicone parts. You'll need to reapply every year. It is oil based, goes on thin and bubbles on application. It will get into tight spots too.

The State buys it by the gallon in drums but it's also offered in spray cans.

Since you live also in Ontario, find Krown products. I've had an OK Tire dealer undercoat a few times, great stuff. I've done that and bought the spray can, not sure if they sell for the gun to the public, could be a behind the counter thing. Just search Krown rust proofing items, you'll see.

That sounds like a good idea ... it sure sticks to the chain saw blade .

And it is in-expensive.

Danke!
