Droid 2 cases?

So I finally switched to Verizon earlier this week. I get a lot better service here, and 3g instead of the Edge network!

Anyway, I am thinking about getting a case for my Droid 2, but I don't know what to get. I want thin. I love the way it it is now without a case, but I will be sick if I drop or something.

Otterbox? ZAGG? Regular plastic case?

i don't see what people like so much about Verizon. Sprint uses the same towers (CDMA) and has practically the same footprint (better in some areas, worse in a few as well) and are overall a better value for a smart phone.

for a plan similar to mine on verizon, i'd have to pay an additional 35 bucks. since a majority of CDMA towers are owned by a third party and leased to VZW and Sprint, quality is going to be the same.

I dont have a case on mine, dropped it two stories the other night hit a railing on the way down and just dented the plastic a bit on both sides of the screen. Ive seen iphones fall two feet and the screen cracked lol.

The Zagg can't be beat. It can be a little tricky to put on, but the screen is clear and it provides a nice rubbery protection.

Otter Box, I have had them on my last two Blackberrys and they both still look brand new.

i will respectfully disagree with you....... if they use the same towers etc. then why is it that sprint coverage isnt as good. why is it my company phone which is sprint didnt have coverage as my verizon phone. there are so many areas that my company phone didnt even get reception driving down an intersate .. sprint 4g is a third party which isnt even sprints, and was launched before all the kinks were taken care of, this has been debated over and over, any every one has their opinions, if it works for you great, but it doesnt and hasnt worked for me, thats why i have verizon. consumer guide even rates the carriers, and sprint came in third, but at least sprint beat att .

I guess if i didnt need the coverage where i needed it, or travel those places where i didnt need it, then i would go CHEAPER and get what i pay for. JMHO>>

Not trying to start a discussion between providers here fellows...

Now I thinking a thin leather pouch/case, but I don't want the belt clip as it will stay in my pocket. I guess a removable belt clip would work also.
