I can't speak for all Canadians but what I do know is that you are an ignoramus of the highest magnitude and you'll be stupid for the rest of your life.

I told you several times to just leave me alone and stay out of my life, but you just can't stop can you? You insult me when my dog dies and you constantly follow me around and harass me every chance you get.

You are the biggest trailer trash I've ever had the displeasure of meeting in my 9years here and hopefully someone, one day will give you the attitude adjustment you so desperately need.

If you feel so inclined, please take a trip up here and the 2 of us can work out your problem out in private, I would be happy to do that for you.

Now unless you're completely illiterate, stupid or just dense, please leave me alone.
Is it really that hard for you to understand?

I can't believe people who are too scared to serve in the Military are still trying to say how the Military should be

It's always been that way. But it is better than living in a police state. The Military just has to take allot of bull**** for the check and balance.

Screwyou, please refresh my memory on how you fit into this "protectionist" policy you refer to?

Sometimes it's embarrassing to be an "ugly" American. Pride is one thing, stupidity and boisterous unwarranted bragging is another. Speak softly and carry a big stick comes to mind. (Thanks to African history and TR)

as a former serviceman from 1995 to 98, im saying this from the bottom of my patriotic heart. i hope that our uniforms dont get a pink stripe or some pink color scheme or even a rainbow scheme somewhere. if your gay or whatever you want to call it, keep it private. since when did being a homosexual became okay and acceptable in the world? i guess im old fashioned, but youre never gonna see my uniform or ford in a pink or rainbow color ever!

also, re: "keep it private." So we should kick ppl out of the military that display ANY sort of public affection? Like ppl shouldnt be allow to wear wedding rings, get married in uniform, etc?

Not that I need to prove myself to you, but FYI, I did intend to serve for my country but medical reasons held me back. They have since been cleared but since then I have been enjoying the path I'm on so at this point I have no plans to re-submit myself.

There have also been, now, in this thread members of the military who have stated that sexual preferences do not bother them.

It seriously surprises me that so many of you have such ignorant disgust for your fellow man. It really is a shame you can't let it go. There are some very great and inspiring people that are gay, and you'd never know unless they told you.

good for you and your intentions, they dont strengthen your point. It was never said that ll military personel are against this, it was said a majority are which is true. I dont consider ELton John "great and inspiring". Congratulations your have a mental illness and you did the same crap everyone else does but because your gay your awesome, shut up

And some who have said it does. So what is your point?

It's not the fellow man that is disgusting, it's the perverted lifestyle. But I guess that's something we will never agree on. That covers the disgust part, can you explain what you mean by ignorant? Work with me here.

Then there is the last part where I quoted you.......You mean Don't Ask Don't Tell, right?

Those who intended and those who are serving and/or served are totally different. Ever hear, "Been there, done that?"

There have also been, now, in this thread members of the military who have stated that sexual preferences do not bother them.
I agree.......however, those who state this have not served opening with gay military members. Sure, some knew of gay folk(s) and was fine with it. Those are in the minority and imposing an openly gay policy will do more harm than good. It's fact that the majority of military members did not want D.A.D.T. appealed. This administion has a track record of no listening to the American people.....especially military members. It's no surprise that Obama receives very little military fanfare support. Which is sad considering he the Commander in Chief.

Why is it that those who oppose are ignorant and be shamed for their beliefs and/or opinions but not those who think like you? What makes them wrong and you right?

Unless you've experienced military lifestyle your views and opinions hold no crediability or weight. I'm 100% positive if a vote was put forward to former and current military members on gays serving opening in the military it would easily be defeated.
