Talk to a Doctor?

Who measured your pressure? FWIW, too small a cuff for the arm can result in high readings.

Go to the doctor and have him advised you accordingly. You'll have to start eating right avoiding stuff like coffee, tea (the caffeine isn't good for you), stay away from salt as it makes you carry more water in the blood stream, avoid any alcohol, and watch yer weight. You can live a long time with this so just be watchful and you'll be watching yer grand kids in 50 years or so.

Yes, go to the doctor. That's a little high for someone your age. I wouldn't worry, but you need to get it checked.

That's high and especially high for a pulse rate. Get to the doctor. Persistent high blood pressure will result in damage to major organs.

You ask us at F150online concerning your heart health. I believe your doctor would be a better choice .

I agree, a doctor is the first person you should consult. High blood pressure is treatable but your doctor is going to have to prescribe the medications, they aren't generally available OTC. Good luck!

It's usually just a co-pay. I have UHC too and it's $25.00.

Your out of pocket cost all depends on what your particular policy covers. If you have wellness benefits that covers an annual checkup, it may not cost you anything.

I wish thats the way it actually works. When money is tight though, some things gotta give, it just sucks its a doctors appointment. Money wont be too tight for long. 300 bucks left of my transmission to pay off (on the first) and im set. i have been skimming while paying it off and a few other debts.

Ill be good, i still would like to figure out what i am covered for.
