Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm on a page, I'm signed in, if I click on "General Discussion" on the tree to go back to the General Discussion thread list page . . .

(old tiny pic page changed . . .the heck?!?!)

instead of going there a new window opens in my browser that is Ford.(com).

Doesn't happen always, but it happens every so often.

I guess this manner of ad linking isn't a pop-up window, which makes it possible to bypass the popup window/advertising blocker.

Anyone?

Nothing like that is happening for me. My issue is that every time I click on a thread or go to the next page, it doesn't load until I either click it again or I refresh the page, then it will load. This only happens on this site as all the other sites I go to work fine.

regards

I've never seen this either, kobiashi. Maybe you're just "lucky".

Oh Boy!!!!! Extra ads for me!!!!!

Um . . . . or not.

Hey, it just happened again. I clicked send response, then, after the page reloaded I clicked on "General Discussion" and a new window opened, on the Ford Website, the MyFordTouch page.

From now on, every time this happens, I'm going to tell a different person never to buy a Ford product. And, for good measure, kill a kitten.

I've had that happen intermittently, but today it's just fine.

I have not had Kobi's experience with the GD click back to ads.

I've got three different browsers on this unit. Firefox 3.6, Exploder, and Chrome. Exploder works great but it's a spam generator. Firefox on this website only, does not allow me to go back- forward only. Chrome saves everything to a TMP file. I don't keep TMP files and when I sometimes get off of the net, Chrome takes several minutes before it shuts down while the hard drive is going crazy. It may have something to do with yer browser as this website is different in each of the three I have.

The "back" button issue is a known Firefox problem . . . well, known to most, but evidently not the kids at Mozilla.

This Ford page popping up in a separate window is happening in Safari. I've haven't been using any other browsers the past few days. Certainly can't speak for Exploder as it's Winders, and there is no way in hell I'll ever use anything by the kids at Google.

You can do those things?!?!?!?!?!

Uhhhhh . . . . Yeah, tried that.

(Please don't ask if I've powered it down and then back up, or I'll start suspect you're in India, working for AT&T, and even though you sound like your name should be Mammbu, you insist it's "Billy" ).

But seriously, thanks for the suggestion.

Don't have that issue, or the back button issue with Firefox. I have noticed that the Ford adds at the top of the page are those (annoying) pop out ads. Maybe your add blocker is blocking you from seeing them, but when you click where it normally is, it's linking you to it? The pop up covers the GD tab...
