Wow! Yeah I would say that truck is pretty well used up. While it does look bad it appears the front end took all impact and not the cab. Gotta love how safe these new Fords are!

Glad to hear you are okay and hopefully things work out well for you.

Do you know for sure that it's a total? It's obviously trashed ahead of the A-pillars, but I'm not certain the cost of repairs will exceed the pay-out on the truck? I guess it all depends on what got mucked-up underneath the sheet metal......

luckily I've got a lot of coverage with my policy

I'm hoping they just total it, I don't wanna drive that thing for 4 more years.

not to mention all the freaking house paint that ended up all over it (inside and out)

I'm glad to hear you're ok.
IMO....that'll be totaled.
Wow 50 and it looks like that--Holy Crap!
Todays vehicles are designed to crumble- to lessen the impact forces to the occupants. I laugh when people say "they don't make them like they used to".
Thank God they don't.....in an old truck, there'd be less damage, but if you weren't wearing a seat belt, you would have sailed through the windsheild.
Dang distracted drivers....
Glad to hear you have gap insurance.
