Right on man! The citizens should alter or abolish the US government, and institute a new government, with its foundation on some principles, or something, and organize its powers in a form that will most likely effect their Safety and Happiness.

Hey, wait a minute! Are you one of thoes anti-government tea baggies, or something?

And I renounce Russia and China!

Hope that wasn't said in an earlier posting, I like to be clever but can be a bit lazy about it.

Here's one way to look at this. Russia doesn't matter and China owns so much of our debt that they can't renounce the dollar.... WELL they can, but in word not in practice. The U.S. economy is simply too big to renounce let alone ignore. Yes, the Chinese economy will soon be bigger but hey, what can a couple of billion Chinese do with their money, buy American?

The world shares much of the same economy these days (globalism) so what happens here is felt elsewhere and vice versa.

If this doesn't calm everybody down, then look what happened to Japan when they bought our debt in the 1980's - languished economy; Arab countries in the 1990's - stagnation and strife; so bring on the Chinese.

Worst case, a Chinese restaurant on every corner and no more cat problems. Can't beat that with a stick...
