I actually am only replying to share some knowledge. Move the vehicle back a few feet on the trailer. You are supposed to have the load over the trailers axle, not on the hitch of the truck.

Not necessarily. You have to have enough tongue weight though so the trailer doesn't sway. Every trailer is different as well as every load's weight. Not everything is going to be directly centered over the axles. It appears that Mud Digger may have too much tongue weight by the pic but he does have a lift kit, which will automatically make his truck sag with any kind of load on the hitch. It happens to me sometimes and my truck is only leveled.
BTW, a few feet back on the trailer would mean he'd be towing it behind the trailer. lol Don't bust his ***** because you weren't there in person to measure the tongue weight. Besides, he got the damn truck free so who cares how he got it home.
