Hungry?

How about a bacon cheeseburger with Krispy Kreme doughnuts instead of buns?

Oh my. I'm thinking this would kill you right away. No slowly waiting for your arteries to clog. This would cause an instant heart attack.

They made a really big deal about these at the State Fair this year; all the news outlets had to put a person in the field eating one to really 'push' the product. To my recollection, they were $7 each and, according to a neighbor who took his kids and purchased one while there, weren't all that great.

Yup, they were at the State Fair here too... glad to see they're trying to kill the rest of y'all too! I can't imagine they've actually made it as far West as you Kobi.

Did anyone instantly drop dead after eating?

On the subject of "food" what the heck is up with the midwest and the south of the Mason Dixon Line states? It's as if everyone is bent on gastronomic suicide. Gravy . . . sausage gravy . . . on EVERYTHING.

"Want some gravy on that Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburger™"?

Sadly, this is a true statement...but funny.

This is why we have some many cases of high blood pressure, high cholestrol, diabetes, etc. It's all the fried food, it's the biggest factor. Gravy and sausage gravy is just the topping.

But when a person is raised eating food this way, that's all they know. I know, it's why I'm a diabetic now. I've learned my lesson, and we're doing our part to raise our chill-rens to eat more healthy. We splurge from time to time, cause we're only human, but we mainly focus on vegtables, white meats, fish and fruits. We've had Brooklyn on this diet since she was ready for solids. Today, after almost four years eating like this, she would rather eat cabbage than hamburger helper.

First, I want to say . . . who is writing this? ^^^^
This can't be Jamz.
What happened to you? You start spawning and suddenly become responsible, wise, and humble? Dude!?!?!?!

This made me laugh.

(Probably don't want to be around her when she eats broccoli either).

But back to Jamz comment:

I'll share a story. My mom was born and raised in K.C. MO. We moved to the Рёорlёs Яёрчвliс оf Каlifоялiа when I was a young comrade, and for breakfast my mom used to make what she knew, biscuits and gravy. After a number of years on the left coast that changed and we never had B&G again.

I move to the midwest, have breakfast my first day here and can smell this odor . . . it was really familiar. It was B&G. I had forgotten all about it. I ordered it so fast I think I frightened the waitress. And . . . it was . . . awesome. And in the three years here I have had B&G . . . a lot. (And have gained 50 lbs since moving here. They also have steak in these parts. Really good steak. Just about everywhere. And it turns out that there is a little hole in the wall in this small town in the real middle of nowhere in Missouri that has the most awesome B&G (and pies) in the world.)

Yup. It's a killer. But really, really good. I'm trying to lose weight, but in these parts that ain't easy.

Did they steal that idea from the Boondocks? Grandpa called it the Luther named after Luther Vandross.
