I hate my state. Give me advice.
Having lived in Colorado for 12 years and now in SoCal for a little over a year and a half I really can say no one place is better. Everyplace you live has its drawbacks so I guess you have to live whrere you can tolerate the negatives. Living in Colorado the main thing for me was the long cold winters. On the positive side Colorado has decent weather 7 or 8 months out of the year, beautiful scenery, affordable homes, and no traffic (depending on where you live). In Socal the negatives are traffic, high home prices, and high taxes, but on the other hand the weather is unbeatable, beautiful scenery, tons to do, and more opportunity. You just have to weigh the differences and your preferences. Currently I'm contemplating moving back to Colorado because I miss the small town type feel and I want to own a home again. I can say we love California, but I'm starting to think that it's best just to visit once in a while. So I'm glad this topic has come up because I'm really on the fence.

Went back and read it, lots of drama. I had wondered what ever happened to Showya.
Never, ever spend your own money on a campaign - of any type. You must always use OPM. Keep that acronym in your head. Learn it. Live it.
***** yourself out to special interests, sell your soul for laundered corporate funding, and most of all . . . smile and lie while you're doing it.
Want to see a perfect example of the idiocy of using YOM (your own money)? I give you Meg Whitman.
Using your own money demonstrates narcissism at a high level. It demonstrates irresponsibility. And most of all, it demonstrates desperation.
(By the way, when giving a speech, be it for fund raising, general campaigning, or pontificating policy, when making a point always group things in "three". For the best example of this style watch any speech by JFK).
So next time you campaign for this thing use OPM. Not only does it allow you to keep yours, but it weakens those who supported you so you can crush them once in power.

Once a month the site has a thread about a black truck with black rims and posts a picture of it and everybody else posts about it and votes for it.
Oh, and there are four other trucks too. I'm not to sure what that part is about.
TOTM is 'Truck Of The Month' about ten forums up above this one.

Now, just so I'm clear . . . it has to be black on black, and has to be a Ford. Yes? I guess this means that my current and my forthcoming SUV won't qualify for display as they are neither.

We need some sort of affirmative action program with this . . . oh, oh . . . oops. Now I did it.
