Racists...
It certainly feels that way-
Slipping in a few tokens, to make it seem better.
I think the words "democrat" and "liberal" are pretty much the new "N" word. Just listen to any of these V or radio shows- the vibe is unmistakable.
I admit, the dems don't do everything right, but 2000 - 2008 proves the pubs don't know what they're doing either. How anyone expected anyone to fix 8 yars of BS in 18 months, is proof for the need for random drug screening.

Raoul - Other estimates put the entourage as low as 800, but the Executive Branch is not talking. Most of the estimates come from sources in India. So 40 planes might be adequate if it's only Barack, Michelle, the girls and 796 of their closest friends and co-workers.
IMO, the wasting of taxpayer money and lack of focus on his most important job of fixing the economy are both things we have gotten used to from this president. The magnitude of the trip does seem a little stunning.
One thing I do find amusing is the the lack of an outcry from the media and environmental groups re: the greenhouse gasses this trip will generate. If G.W. Bush were still president, this trip would be covered as an affront to the planet, as well as a slap in the face to the American taxpayers. But since Obama is president, it barely gets covered at all by the MSM.

I can't believe how all you libtards think that claiming "Bush!" can win you any arguments. You are truly pathetic. obama has had plenty of time to fix things. All his stupid a$$ needs to do is to lock himself in his personal mosque and stop screwing everything up worse. He just keeps pushing his socialist agenda, overloading the economy in hopes that it totally collapses under his rule so that he can claim himself dictator.
Ok all of Liberals here in IL have to fess up. He is taking us all to India with him. It is the escape plan for our former Governor Rod Blago too. Got to really feed the rumor mill!!!
This trip also includes the G20 summits in Asia among other things. All of the heads of state are expected to attend as did Bush, Clinton, etc in the past.
The record to date for a US President's trip was $50 million by Clinton for the entire trip so the figures thrown out there are ludicrous.
Again, you don't have to like the guy. There are many other Democrats or Republicans (yes I said Republicans) that I think would have done a better job to date, but that is beside the point. To tell blatant lies about someone is wrong. Certainly if you are coming from the party that is supposed to represent the religious right, christian values, morally beyond reproach, family values group!
Lying is wrong no matter what but if you are going to put yourself on a pedestal then expect to be knocked off when you are an outright fraud.

Obama's trip to India is all about creating jobs. Have you never had to called tech support? Those people need jobs too! He is personally going to India to make sure they are getting them. His economic policies prove it!
Obama only knows three things.....campaigning, vacating, and picking sport teams. After two years...he's a failure. I love all the hope and change people bought into.
Obama is a sock puppet in George Soros' world. To all the Libs and Canadian turds....

To clarify, I don't blame Republicans for the outsourcing. I was in the Army in 1994, so I didn't witness or pay attention to the impact of NAFTA. However, in 2001 I saw the shift, and how it picked up momentem after the Y2K bust, and the dot.com flop, then shifted into high gear after 9/11.
As for President Obama- I'm not mad with him. I wouldn't have been mad if it had been McCain either. Whoever would have had to fill Bush's shoes inherited this economic ***** sandwich, he didn't make it. Obama had to try something- the direction we were headed wasn't working either. When you're lost, at some point you have to ask for directions. Top economists (who weren't on CNN or Fox News) thought the changes attempted could turn us around- it hasn't- but it has slowed our decent to the bottom of the barrell.
It's the shift of jobs to overseas by big business to cut labor costs, increase revenue, and provide return on investment to the shareholders- at the cost of American jobs. It's not a Democrat problem, it's not a Republican problem, it's a problem that has either impacted us directly, or someone we know, and it's not going to stop until someone makes it easier for big business to do business in America- with American employees. Clinton enacted tax breaks in the 90's for company's that created jobs in the US, and in 1999- there were more jobs than there were qualified candidates.
Today, unemployment is nearly 10%, and higher in rural and less affluent areas.
Until people can work, the power shift will continue to swing from Republican to Democrat, as people blame the political parties for their problems (and at some level there may be truth to some of it). But, what's at the core for most Americans is how will this impact me?
It's not a Democrat problem, it's not a Republican problem, it's an American problem. Neither party has shown an ability to fix any of this (post-Clinton). So, who-we-gonna-call?

Unless you are a member of your local militia, dream of Sarah Palin/Christine O'Donnell and think the far right is always right...you will be scorned!
They don't like people that buck the trend!!! LOL!Nonetheless, you are right, it doesn't matter who is office...the bottom line is bringing jobs home and turning around this rush to outsource.
These companies think they will be more profitable if they can get cheaper labor. The problem is that if there is no one to buy their products, their bottom line will fall too.
The people in 3rd world nations that make $2.00 a day aren't going to pick up the slack for the American consumer. You can't maintain a consumer based economy that makes nothing unless the banks are just going to lend money freely without credit limits! The bubble burst and the crap hit the fan.
The thing that is funny is that the free market people (Libertarians) shouldn't care whether the borders are open or not. The market will regulate everything...unfortunately too much anything is bad.
Henry Ford paid his labor $5.00 a day which infuriated the other industrialists at the time. He argued that by paying them better he would have a more stable workforce and the labor could buy the vehicles they made.

I agree with Obama on one crucial topic... Go White Sox. I really expected to agree with K-Mac before Obama, but stuff happens.
5 mil is a number. If you, or someone elected to office gets to decide what that number is, freedom is taken away, whether you're a libertarian or not. That number could be anything depending on who is making the decision. You think that most can feed their family on a measly 5 mil a year. The next progressive might think that the family making 100k, or 60k a year has enough to feed themselves.
Socialism.
When the government is deciding who has too much, who has just enough, and who doesn't have enough, they take freedom away from everyone.
Progressives don't seem to get it. If you want to punish the rich people, stop spending your money on the goods and services that they directly, or indirectly produce.
I'm curious, why don't you make a list of who tried to have who banned because of political comments/opinions ?
