My newspaper today ran a long letter with multiple paragraphs. The letter writer chronicled many similarities (in his mind) between the Tea Party and the **** Party. It's pretty funny to me that the left thinks the Tea Party is akin to the *****. Well, maybe they don't really think that, but the MSM is happy to spread the propaganda.
Seems to be the way it goes, they are more interested in name calling and pitting one group against another than to following the constitution. When was the last time you heard of a bunch of conservatives throwing pies at a speaker or.....

Classic case of projecting by the letter writer.

I thought so, too. But not only did the paper run it, they put it as the first letter in the letters to the editor section.

Gee, I wonder if the (left leaning) newspaper might actually want to mis-represent the Tea Party. Nah, they would NEVER do that

I don't know what the main stream media has had to say about the 10/2 event in DC. I haven't paid any attention to the main stream media lately. Is it getting any coverage?

This is footage apparently taken at the march:

You know, there are always a few nut cases in every group. Or is it there is a group of nut cases? I can't tell.

First and only time I've heard of that event is this thread. I'd have to say it got zero coverage.

I'm going to a DC rally but, that one is not til 10/30.

That should be a hoot. I'm sure all of you kids will have a good time.

Hey, I know your just a stones throw from our nations capital, but is someone providing trasportation for you like they did at this 10/2/10 thing? I keep hearing how the Tea Party is funded by big corporate interests but the two times that I've gone to DC, from Massachusetts, I've had to pay for my own transportation and lodging. Is anyone aware of some Hateful Corporate reimbursement program for teabaggers? I dropped a fair amount of my own lower middle class income to take my message to the steps of the capital, as did everyone that I talked to while there. No one ever informed me of a way to get Greedy Corporations to pay my way.

I am 180 miles South of DC. There are buses but, they are not free.
The buses down here are leaving from Richmond, about 120 miles South of DC and 60 miles closer than me.

The buses really are a necessity, they ring the Capital at major cities to keep individual traffic down. Without the bus setup you would have gridlock in DC and not enough parking for everyone.

My plan is to drive up Friday night and stay with a friend in Alexandria.
We are going to bike into DC Saturday morning.

So, I'm not riding the bus, I'm afraid I'd end up with blue hair or it would make me gay or at the very least I'd end up with bedbugs.
