Dont worry, you guys can have a Fort Worth meet sometime. There are a bunch of f150 guys up there.

MmK, since I can't be positive how many people will show up I'm going to post the coordinates of my secondary location (due to smaller parking area of the first). It may be the second choice but it is without doubt the easiest to find and has little charms of its own.

Not sure if this will be an issue but I might as well mention it. If your truck or ride is vertically challenged, we can relocate just up the hill to a decently large parking lot. You must be able to drive over a golf ball or not be too worried about bumping. Like I said, it is not much of an issue but I figured I might as well throw that out there. I see little civics and stuff down there so I know just about anything can make it down.

For the location go to google maps and copy/paste the following coordinates:

29.912444,-97.897099

There will be an exit SPECIFICALLY FOR the Blanco River. Then just roll down hill unless you see a bunch of trucks parked in the big parking lot (construction equipment and their operators don't count).

Bring drinks and food if you want but stay within the law because I'm not driving your drunk azzez home!

id love to make it as long as we can work around the ut v nebraska game... haha. somewhere good around there where we could go watch the game maybe afterwards? they havent figured out a time for the game yet, so if it ends up being a night game i would be able just to come back to austin for that.
but anyway, as of right now, tentatively count me in numbers wise.

I've heard it only takes 20-30 minutes to get between Austin and SM. I also have a 19 inch TV. Not sure if my power inverter can handle it though, it's not in the best shape.

they usually announce the game time like a week and a half before, so once i find that out, thatll determine my plans. i have a power inverter thats pretty good if we need to use it...

Ok, I'll have mine anyways because I'm almost guaranteed to DJ off my computer (that way I can modify a playlist to accomidate tastes other than mine because I'm too cheap to buy music I wont listen to) but it wont hurt to have a stronger backup. I'll probaby be out there all day anyways hoping to catch me some "fish of value."

I'm also not aiming to throw the biggest F150 party ever but I figured a get-together would be cool. I didn't expect to hear from people outside of a 100 mile radius...hence the "central Tx meet" title.
If you would have picked brady i could make it im only 87 miles from brady

I had to pick a name that would get the attention of people in the area. Brady, the geographical center of Tx is about 150 miles away but keep in mind Tx is about 900 by 900 miles from top to bottom, side to side. May seem far but central Texas is still an accurate title. I figured I-35 was close enough for multiple reasons like I know and I live kinda near San Marcos, and it is closer to larger cities like Austin and San Antonio.

Haha nice, we'll see what happens around March. I think tarajerame put dibs on for April. We'll have a vote whenever that part of the year rolls around...unless there will be enough people for two. I think I can count about 5 for sure between this forum and a another more general truck forum. I'm not expecting a huge turnout but the more the better.
