I'll throw my .02 in the pot here. Without natural consequences occuring, would evolution ever have happened? The strongest in nature are the ones that survive and therefore, make a stronger population. This should be true in business as well. With bad decisions and poor work ethic, come some natural consequences. If we continue to prop up those businesses (and individuals) who make those bad decisions and have poor work ethic with an artifical floor, how will they ever hit rock bottom and either change to do well or go away all together - making room for new, stronger businesses their respective markets. It's not rocket science.

HERE IS THE MAJOR PROBLEM. Republicans AND Democrats. Both parties, instead of working in the interest of their constituants, work in the interest of themselves. Its all about how many kick backs, pork dollars, and benefits they can get during their 2/4/6 year term. The whole system is screwed up. The constitution means nothing now.
What we really need is a viable third party *cough*libertarians*cough* to help balance the power and shake up the status quo. Ron Paul for President.
