Hard to say. Sounds like it's at a state fair. I would assume the event's co-ordinators may have a say on what can go on during the time of the fair? I'm not sure.

It's not just the right of freedom of speech, I believe we (in the western world) have the right to a peaceful protest.

It seems this was at a state fair of some sort. The security guards were obviously wrong and this guy has the right to his freedom of speech. The only problem I have with him is that he had a "Hitler" mustache on President Obama on the sign he was holding. That is disrespectful of the Office of the President (regardless of whether you voted for him or not) and of President Obama. These things are what draws the ideas of racism toward the Teabaggies and the Right Wing. You can say the message without the doctoring of pictures. For one the message will be taken more seriously and secondly you won't draw the criticism for being racist!!!

As far as grounds to impeach, he hasn't committed a criminal act against the office so that isn't going to happen

Pay attention because, like most of the time, the devil is in the details.

Open to the public is NOT the same as a public event.

The Alaska State Fair is run by a non-profit organization and the fair itself is on private property.

The security agents, contracted by the event's organizers, followed directives just as a bouncer at a bar.

This protester, regardless of his message, was in violation of the event planners rules and when he failed to heed the warnings to stop, the security agents stepped in and attempted to escort him off of the property.

As you can clearly see in the video, the protester wrapped his legs around one of the security agents (3:58 in the video) as a last ditch effort to prevent from being forced out of the event.

Did you happen to notice that portion of the video footage where it jumps @7:05? Thats right, the video was edited. That is where the security agents discovered the LOADED HANDGUN the protester's pants pocket.

Now if you still feel that he was harassed and treated unfairly then I guess you wouldn't have any problem someone inviting themselves to your home to share their opinions with the world from your lawn.

We have the right to stand on public ground and voice our opinions. However no one has the right to stand on private property, other than their own, and do so.

Thanks for filling in the blanks, Ox.

Is there a news story to go with this?

This guy was looking for a confrontation and got one - no surprises here. What sickens me is when the Westboro Baptist Church "protests" at the funeral of a slain soldier, killed cheerleader, or some other tragic event, they get police protection. When freedom of speech is only available to those that game the system, we all lose freedom.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech of freedom of the press. If there was, then the gov wouldn't be trying to prosecute FOX news right now...

That's really getting old. Every time I hear somebody spout that nonsense, my opinion of their intelligence goes into the toilet. Just because they don't take their marching orders from Leftists, doesn't mean their reporting of the news is less valid, or that it doesn't provide a useful counterpoint to the lockstep reporting of the other news organizations. Hell, of late, the National Inquirer has shown itself to be more of an investigative news entity than CNN, MSNBC, or any of the other Liberal mouthpiece news agencies out there. Listen to it ALL, and try to make some sense of it. No one of us will ever have a firm grasp on the big picture anyway. There's spin everywhere you turn... But not everything you hear from "the other side" is invalid.

Give it a try for the news you trust the most and see what comes back there genius. There's controversy a plenty out there if you've been around long enough.
