Sensational Sandwiches

Anyone seen this TV show last week?
They went searching America for the 10 best sandwhiches they could find.

Every one of them looked good, I was drooling! It makes me want to visit one of the 10 cities every month for a nice week-end trip just to try those tasty temptations personally.

If you guys have tried them, chime in and tell me your thoughts.

#10) Holman & Finch Public House
Atlanta Georgia
Home Made Hamburgers : They grind their own meat, make their own condiments, it looks amazing.

#9) Barclay Prime
Philly
$100 Cheese Steak Sandwhich.
Good God, I would be so broke if I lived there because I could see me buying one every day until I got tired of it. The thing looks sooo good.

#8) Payne's BBQ
Memphis
Bologna Sandwhich with BBQ sauce and slaw - Looks very messy but tasty

7) B&G Oyster Bar
Boston
Lobster Roll: Mmmmmmm

6) Johny O's
Chicago
~ Mother-in-Law Sandwhich ~ Yeah baby, messy and heartburn, but looks awesome.

5) Mah Peche
NYC
Bon Mih Vietnamese Pork Sandwhich - Awesome

4) Harold's Deli
Edison NJ
Harold's World Famous Triple Decker for $50
- contains about 10 pounds of meat, lol.
That place is definitly on my list.

3) Austin MegaCity Limits Music Festival
Austin, Texas
~ The Chicken Cone, served in a ice cream cone holder.

2) Peseo Caribbean
Seattle
~ Cuban Roast Pork Sandwhich. - (this would be my first one on the list to try)

1) The Lodge
Scottsdale, AZ
The Sasquach, lol, just a gigantic burger like you've never seen.

So if any of you guys have tried any of these, posts your comments, are they areally as good as they look?

I have the show PVR'd, and watched it 3x already, lol

I just had dinner at Harold's this evening. I had a pastrami sandwich. The smallest is a large (menu states it will feed up to three), the next size up is an XL which can feed five.

I tried to eat the whole thing but couldn't.

The triple decker is insane. You could feed a small crowd with one.

Go for breakfast, an omelet is made with a dozen eggs.

The pastrami is the best.

If you have a Firehouse Subs in your area, you need to get there and fast. Good stuff. Best sandwich I've ever had is at a place called Salatos. Sits at Lockwood and I-10 on the East side of Houston. Run down house with a little old Chinese lady in there making unbelievably good sandwichs..holy hell!!!

Firehouse isn't bad, but if you have a Penn Station near you... Stay away! It is like crack in sandwich form.
