Sweet, whats the specs on the rockwells? I know what they look like but that's about it. Do they come with lockers or do you have to add them? What gears do they run? I am pretty ignorant to this.

they're 2.5 tons, with 6.72 gears. they make lockers for them and are actually pretty cheap but i'll prolly just weld the rear up.

heres some pics. today i steam preasure washed them off to get all the grease and dirt off and i removed the boots. im ordering some new ones right now and the perches for them. also heres a pic of the blazer with the top on it. should look sick with the 44-46's.

don't mind the torn flex pipe. i was dumb and took it out in my pasture one night right after i put the front drive shaft back in and the bolts came loose and it slung the drive shaft out and through the pipe. lol

debraked the front axle and pulled the shafts out of the front and rear axles and cleaned them up today. the military does a great job of keeping things looking new in there. oh and i was like a kid on christmas when i pulled the front shafts, they're the u-joint kind . this also means that the axles aren't too old which is good. all the shafts seem good too. my perches and u-bolts came in the other day too, all i need is my boots and a few seals then they'll be ready to go under the k5.

Looking great man! What's the status of the build now? It's been almost a month since the last update.

dang it really has, well i haven't done much but some. i put the seats in the truck, cut the rear brakes off the rockwells, and i changed the gear oil in the one tons under it now. i also got a form that i have to get a cop to sign for the tag office so i can register the vehicle.

im going to go ahead and get a tag now while it's legal, then make the axle swap.

Dude awesome project. My uncle has a 90' K5 on D60s that i helped him build, he was on the cover of 4wheel Magazine. It's pretty much just a "for show" blazer but we go out with the 4wheeling clubs every now and then. And what is up with you and lime green. Haha first it's on your ford and now on your chevy. Lol i ride Kawasaki but dont know if i could put it on my truck. Haha cant wait to see this project take way. Oh and if you need front/rear bumpers or rock sliders my uncle makes them and sells them. Here is his website http://www.dpalms.com/dpi/sliders.shtml He has made tons of them and sometimes i help him if he has a big order, he is the sales manager for Ramsey winch out of tulsa, ok also.
http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161518 Here is a link to a post he put on Colorado K5 about his products, he posts pictures throughout all the pages.

Edit- I just look at his site since awhile and some of the front bumpers that were on there aren't anymore, so email him and he will send you alot of pics of the ones he has done for customers. Also rear bumpers too.
