there are usually a few sets of rockwells on craigslist near me for pretty good prices but right now there aren't that many sets for some reason. one set really close to me is $1300 which is kind of high for takeouts but maybe he would go lower. then i found another set in tennesee for $850. i wish i was closer haha.

im about 45 minutes south of atlanta, pretty much in the middle of atlanta and macon if you know where macon is. well right now its around 15-18in.s and when i get the rockwells i'll probably add around 8in. perches to them so it'll be at 23-26in.s of lift when its done.

haha nah, i could fit 44's now and the guy i bought it from said it had 46's when he bought it but i think those could scrub. i definitely want to have plenty of room for the tires.

haha i will definitely, this thursday i get paid so i'll probably buy some rocks when i do, and i've got some friends that want to buy the axles under the truck now from me so that'll help get some money back for the wheels. i'll get the axles steering and running first then buy wheels the buy tires. since i figure tires will be the most expensive part of the build. i'll run the same size wheels as on it now so i will just take the tires off the stock 2500 wheels now and put them on some maybe 16x12 or 16x14's to stretch them a bit and give me a wider stance. i'll just play around like that until i can get some bigger tires. should have a lot of torque with 6.72's and 38's though. haha

so heres a little update, today i finished sealing the floor and i started herculining it. should be done by tomorrow and i'll post pics, then i'll put the front seats in. i need to find some rockwells though. i planned on driving up to TN to get that set but they ended up being front loaders instead of top. bummer but im sure some more will turn up on craigslist eventually.

yep right now i've got around $1300 that i could spend on the rocks but i would rather spend around a grand or less if possible.

here are some pics of most of the interior done in herculiner, i've still got to do the ceiling and pillars.

Thats sweet! A guy I know who used to live around here had a jeep on 40s set up by a custom shop for rockcrawling, and he had the whole inside like this or maybe linexed, I cant remember but it came in handy haha.

that sounds like a pretty cool jeep, yeah i did it just so i could spray it all out when mud and stuff gets in it. after awhile im gonna get a cheap marine stereo, either 2 or 4 speaker kit and wire it in.
