I have this. It hooks up to the visor. Can direct the sound through the unit or through the radio speakers.

Dude that was ****in' brilliant. Bravo!

An Lg Ceil and jawbone headset. I have to talk while on the road quite often.
I asked on this forum awhile back about blue tooth headsets, because I couldn't find one I liked. Someone here told me about the Jawbone. Whoever it was, Thanks. It is my third headset, and the first one I like.

Iphones are worthless in this area. AT&T just don't have the coverage here.

There are some people in the world that don't need their phones all the time.
Then there are some of us who run a business, and at times being "joined at the ear" to our phones can sometimes mean that our business runs smoother, more efficient and we can accomplish more in a days time.
I manage approx. $30 million worth of private property, some commercial but mostly waterfront vacation homes. Yes, I could still do it without the modern conviencence's but no where near as easily.
There are times when I dislike the attachment to technology that our culture has. Yet on the other hand, I will never be with out the conveniences of the various modern electronic devices. My bluetooth head set allows me to conduct necessary and sometimes lengthy conversations with clients while I am driving or working. It is not unusual for me to make 30 or 40 phone calls a day. I don't have to stop and sit there holding my phone to my ear while burning up valuable work time. My smartphone and / or my laptop, allow me to make those phone calls, email clients or send them photo's right from their driveways, no matter where in the world those clients may be. I can log onto the internet from anywhere and research items or solutions to problems etc. immediatly. I don't have to wait until I get home to do all this stuff.
Those of you who choose to, can stay living in the 70's. I will utilize as much modern technology as necessary, available and affordable to enhance my business productivity, which allows me more free time to enjoy and explore lifes pleasures.

The last half of your statement is key. You are wisely utilizing modern technology to enhance your life. Too many people have allowed modern technology to dominate their life and/or encroach on others.

my phone has a few of my MP3s, and has bluetooth technology, all though i refuse to get a stupid ear attachment

I despise all things apple because of their system hogging iTunes program, and that annoying "i" that is never capitalized

to mlamprey: I wasn't talking about you business types. That is completely understandable.

I was talking more about the soccer mom's and college-aged kids. especially those that are driving without hands free. I might have to buy in to crackberries and bluetooth when I get a real job, but for right now, it's just an unnecessary expense for me.

I have a cell phone with internet and music capabilities and an I-pod. I'm not into all the fancy gadgets either, but I think it's imperative to have a cell phone even if just for emergency purposes.
