My car keeps throwing a P0106...

depends on if and where the MAF is located. anything between the head and the MAF could be causing an issue

There is no MAF.

ok then anything from TB to Cyl Head could be causing this

you should still be able to try the cup in the intake trick tho and test for a vacuum leak

So, the light turned off earlier this week.. on its own.

So, it seems like when the car throws the P0106, it also idles high and fluctuates a bit. Also, car threw a P0122 (TPS code) on this road trip. Still runs great.

Reregister it in Rolla so you don't have to get emissions inspection.
