We have Hankook's on a Suzuki Samurai. I'm not sure how many miles are on them but they've been on it for 3 years. They've held up beautifully, not a single issue and lots of life left.

Hmmm, not so sure about that. I think they grip pretty well, even at the strip.

I've had Hankook Ventus 295/40/20 on my truck for the last 3 years and there's still plenty of life left in them.

Even after this

Good point. Yes they were new when bought by date. I guess some people have good luck with them and some not.

While we definitely don't race our Samurai, the Hankook's have been a very reliable winter tire. We have a relatively steep driveway, at times 4wd is required in the winter or you're walking home. We've never had a problem getting Sammy home through the ice and snow.

We have 2 of them, our commute vehicles, in order to keep it straight which one we are talking about we started calling them Sammy (my husband's) and Suzie (mine). It's shorter than saying your Samurai or my Samurai.

I was coming to work this morning, and just backed up to turn my truck around to leave the house. I felt a funny vibration. So I got out and looked , sure enough I had a flat tire.
So I got my air tank out and aired it up, (The tire had a big assed screw in it). I then refilled my tank and came to work.
I got a break a while ago, and went to the tire shop to get it fixed. The guy was breaking the bead off the rim ,"Guess What?" The machine took a big ole plug out of the side of my tire!
I had bought the tires in a speed shop in Little Rock, so of course they don't have them here. So they took a tire off the junk pile, to put on the truck, and told me they would have me a new tire a week from Wednesday.

Don't cha" just love Mondays
