Thanks for all the advice guys, except for Emperor Douche trying to **** on the thread. I don't want to use the Marine Corps. as just a resume, but I figured it would improve my chances, and I could always go back to it if the FBI turns me down.

It will improve your chances, all i'm saying you little cry baby, is that you sure as **** better be there to lead the finest fighting men into battle FIRST. If you want to work for the FBI as a long term goal, thats fine. But serve to serve, not to improve your chances. Don't act like thats not what you said.

That does not sound like sombody that wants to do their country service, that sounds like sombody trying to get the government to pick up the tab on your college (the Marine Corps wont, they used to a little, but not now) or give you spending money (the Marine Corps sure as hell wont). You said it not me. With your attitude, you wouln't last three minutes with the Marines. If you can't handle me calling you out over the internet or be responsible for what you said, like Dirt bike dave said, don't waste the Marine Corps time.

When I was in Basic, the only way to get into OCS (besides Qualifying scores and security clearance) was by Congressional Appointment. David Pryor was to be my sponsor, but I was E4 by then. I chose Jump School instead. By then my window had passed to someone else. But that's acient history.
I ended up freelancing in Central America.

This one is going nowhere good, so rather than try to clean it up, I'm closing it. You no better than the name calling, from past experience. No more please.
