2 Things

1. How did they recover his truck while he was in the back of the squad ?
I have never seen a dually on a flat bed, or behind a tow truck, that must have looked silly.

2. If you do not have one already, might want to invest in a tongue lock for the trailer, and maybe keep the plates off of it.

I take it you do not need titles for trailers in your state ( or maybe plates ? ) how else could the clown say you sold it to him ? As posted already some people....

If Texas is anything like Missouri, cops *generally* don't care if the trailer has plates on it....

Dude's lucky he didn't get shot!

I'm hoping you're going to file charges against him! Ssounds like he'll have his hands full with all his warrants anyways though!

Man, I'm sometimes jealous of you Texas guys. That quote is just unheard of to us Marylander's. Sorry to hear about your ordeal, that is such BS.

1.Whats funny is the truck is still sitting at the end of my road as of 7:30 this morning our sheriffs are on the laid back side so there is not telling what they are going to do to the truck. Anyone want some parts off a new dually?

2.Yes i was thinking that, where i live is in the middle of nowhere and that is the last thing i have ever thought of doing, i leave the keys in all my vehicles and havent locked my front door in about 2 years.

I just checked on the public records for the county and he is in jail with 60,000 dollars worth of bonds, so im thinking he will be there for a while.

Yea i love the texas law about handguns. Everyone except convicted felons can legally carry a weapon in your vehicle if it is conceled, it even states you are allowed to carry your weapon from your vehicle to your place of bussiness or residence.

Several states have taken the view that your vehicle is an extension of your house. Read: You can carry your gun in your car the same as you can carry it in your house.

Hmmm, seems like everyone except convicted felons cannot legally carry a weapon here in lovely Baltimore, MD . I enjoy target shooting and try to go often. In Maryland, we have to transport our weapons unloaded and the ammo is not to be any where near the unloaded weapon when transporting. I usually keep the weapons in my back cab and the ammo in the bed in my tool box.

MN laws are the same. kind of a PITA when I head up north to go hunting. The only way to carry a loaded gun in a vehicle here is to have a conceal carry permit.

Right, I believe we can do the same here in MD. However, when I was reading about that, it seemed like you could only realistically obtain one if you were in some type of law enforcement ie: security guard. Or were retired military or law enforcement.
