Mike Rowe reminds me of the typical Joe Average Guy that wants a vehicle to do the job it is intended to do with no B.S. Even in the newer commercials, he isn't talking to you, the viewer, he is talking with the new car owner and driver, or the person who just tested a Ford for a while to compare to their Brand X.

As for Howie Long, how could he do Chevy commercials, and be on the Fox NFL shows sponsored by Ford. Isn't that just a little bit of a contradiction, Howie? Then again, he was never known for his intelligence.

Would love to have a few beers with him. Seems very genuine, humble and can sell the "off-color" jokes very well!! funny guy!

Howie Long is the brain dead idiot with the flat top in the Chevy commercials, on the Fox NFL pregame, halftime and post game shows, and a former Raider defensive lineman. Google him.

Yeah, I love what he is doing with that. He is a BIG anti-union guy that doesn't believe in the 'war on work' that unions promote.

I think Ford did good! Dirty Jobs is one of my favorite shows. Mike Rowe is human, people respect him, they identify with him and they listen to him...just what you want in a spokesman!

I 100% agree with everything said about Mike- a "real guy", through and through... BUT. I also thought Jill Wagner did a pretty good job at pitching Fords too- and uh, she was easy on the eyes....

I think it's a brilliant choice by Ford to use Mike Rowe. He is a natural. As a fan of dirty jobs and deadliest catch (he does the voiceover), I love seeing him on those commercials.

Wow... how did I never realize that his voice was on deadliest catch... DOH!
I know he has been to Dutch Harbor recently, I wonder if i'll see him there. I got a chance and may be again soon, to work in Dutch Harbor for a few weeks at a time. Last time I went I was so pissed not to have brought my camera, some of the most insane weather i've ever seen and more eagles than NY has pigeons. I book the travel for fisherman/crabbers going up there, so I also get to meet face to face with some of these guys, and let me tell you........ Smellllly!
