Was watching a live stream of times square last night. Was crazy to see it completely dead because police closed off a large section of it.

 

Saw it on Foxnews. There has to be some video footage of the guy running away from the failure so they can ID him.

 

Are they calling a tool box a gun case?

It may not be in that article, but I've read it today on the internets.

 

Sounds like some idiot made the bomb. Consisted of plastic gas cans with gasoline, a package full of M-80 firecrackers, and 3 cans of propane.

 

I read there was a certain amount of a material that resembled fertilizer in there too.

 

i work 12 blocks away from times square, right next to the garden. always something weid going on..

 

Sorry to say but not suprising seems like every other day something like this happens. Cant say enough about our military over seas thank everyone that does it for us but i think we need a little bit more help here also...

 

Scary. I was watching the fight when I heard this on the news on a tv in another room

 

Looks like they changed the article the link went to. Previously it stated a military unit that screens militant websites had a video where a spokesman for the Pakistan Taliban said the bomb was in retaliation of us killing their leaders a few weeks back.

 

Reports are saying it was a white middle aged male....

 

Great...I can't wait for MSNBC to try and blame it on the Tea Party then.

One theory is that this was parked really close to Comedy Centrals HQ and that it was retaliation for the South Park Mohammed Teddy Bear episode.
