hey guys, i have a harley i wanna sell from lack of use, and well im not sure what to ask. looked in the book, and well my 1997 Sportster XL 1200 Custom with drag pipes, k&n, and a good amount of chrome with just 7000 original miles is about $4750-5000 with a clear title(more than i thought, but it is super low miles). and from what it looks like the salvage title supposedly drops the value about 25%. other than the salvage title, the bike is mint. what should i be asking? $4000?

I'd go higher. My dad picked up a 1991 FLHTCU in full dress for 8K, and that was a steal.

you know you are most likely going to get low-balled, so start out at like 6K or something and dont got any lower than 5K, JMO
