Hey man, its not too bad. Atleast im not rolling bone stock. Kinda hard to not have love for a engine with 178k that runs like new still. Trust me though when this one bites the dust they will be bigger, better things going down.

 

I didnt wait for my 4.6 to die, had 196k on it and I pulled it, cant pull a friggin trailer 65mph with 4.88's without being in third the whole time yarding out 3500rpm. unless it was a slight downhill

 

Well I have no worries man. I dont pull anything other than two 3 seater jet skis a few times a year, and I cant even feel those things back there.

 

I think im happier with the blown 5.4... not sure yet, It just cost me $1000 for 1 ton axles, to get started.

 

A blown 5.4 is only like 5k more than I need to spend right now

 

with 6# boost, and a running 5.4, you can probably pull it off in half that price.

 

Really?! I tell you what. If thats true and I could pick up a supercharged 5.4 for less than 3grand then I am all for it. I havent seen a supercharger that works on my truck go for less than that so throwing in a 5.4 for less than that.. sounds too good to be true to me.

remember I said a running 5.4, appx $1500 for the intake complete on ebay (take offs are usually rather complete) and I think everything on Mike Dunn's list is around $1100
