Stop Sign Ticket

Well..i got a ticket for not stopping all the way. I have been told that if the stop sign is not registered under the county that the stop sign is in, the nthe cop ca't sit and wait for someone to run it. and to tell wether it is registered or not is that there should be a sticker on the back with the registration code... my question is, is this true?

Stop sign registered? Never heard of that one before.

Why are you even trying to fight it? You didn't come to a complete stop, you got a ticket.........

You keep rolling the dice, eventually they come up craps.

OP; you don't have synchronized gears? Yes you do, which means you don't have to come to a stop to place it in first. Registered stop signs, that's like an undercover cop has to tell you he's a cop if you ask him. Yuk Yuk Yuk. Think of all the ones you really ran through and didn't get caught. Just pay the fine.

this is kinda like that red light camera ticket I just got, I don't remember it being red, of course it was almost a month ago so that doesn't mean much, but it's not worth it the time to fight it. Accept it, pay it and move on.

I dont see you going in that court room in front of the cop and convincing the judge that you did stop and the cop is full of *****. Just send your money in and move on.. Its a $90 fine here in my county.

My dad who was a police officer always told me and my brother:

"Do as I say not as I do"

I can't even count how many times I heard that growing up.

DID you come to a complete stop or not? If not, pay the ticket. If you are 100% convinced in your own mind that you did, then go to court and plead your case. Trying to find technicalities is the wrong way to plead your case.
