Teabaggers=Terrorists?
what? Where was I wrong?
Am I wrong to reject Islam and profess Christianity as my religion?
Where
Why don't you call the Muslims who are shooting at our American troops everyday bigots and racists instead of your fellow Americans. How about calling Muslims bigots, ones in our country who support overrunning America and instilling their beliefs here. Why don't the libs call them out for once? Oh wait, that would be considered racist wouldnt it?
I could go on forever. Some people just don't understand

I would say most people don't understand you're logic. Yes, there are evil people out there in the Muslim faith that have corrupt interpretations of the religon. The exact same thing can be said about Catholicism or any religon. Let's not forget about the crusades, or so called "mercy killings" performed by Christians.
No, you're not wrong to profess your religous views; but to make holistic, blanket statements about an entire faith is irresponsible. And don't blame me for calling you a bigot, because you came out and said it yourself. To be American means respecting the constitution and bill of rights, which protects freedom of religon.

There is no way to compare Christianity to Islam. Crusades are a dark spot on Christian's history, and it was a huge mistake, however its always the 'go-to' reason that non-believers hate Christians. Let's look at our present day-situation.
I will blanket the religion because it is true. Do your homework and you will find that even though Muslim's are mostly very nice and peaceful people, they will defend their radical teachings written in the Koran. I just had this argument with a very intelligent Muslim whom I was in graduate school with. We argued in WalMart of all places. And I was right; in a peaceful way, I put him and his black-veiled wife in place, and told them that if they wanted to support their radical beliefs, get the heck out of America. We don't do that here. I looked at his wife once and said how nice it is that American women are free to do as they please; they can be CEO's, go to college, do whatever they want. Don't come over here preaching your stuff in my country. If I went to Iran (their home country), I would be decapitated without any kind of trial for stating that I was a Christian. Talk about a double standard. But Motograter, if you want to be pleasing to that train of thought, thats your weakness, not mine.
The problem is that America is too politically correct; we try to please everyone. While we can allow religious freedom, we must, at a minimum, state that a religion, who's intent is to destroy our Christian-based nation, is not welcome here. How hard is that? What are you afraid of? We built this country without Muslims, we can protect it and proceed without them. Let them live their Muhammad/ terrorist believing/ camal herding beliefs in the desert, not in America.
Calling me a bigot is fine, I'd rather think of myself as Patriot.

The single goal of Islam is to convert everyone on the planet to their faith and kill those that resist.
I find it amazing that some people can watch interviews with Muslims on TV who have sworn to kill Americans in the name of 'Allah.'
Second, ask any Muslim and he not deny that the Koran teaches such radical beliefs.
And still, Americans are tollerant to their behavior; they accept them and make Christianity out to be the bad guy.
Where are Christians when disaster strikes? At the front. How many good-hearted, God fearing Muslims do you think run organizations like the Red Cross, coordinate relief efforts after natural disasters, liberate people and help establish a free lifestyle?...I could go on.
Islam is not our friend - not in the least little bit. Their people who are oppressed and forced into this religion need to be liberated. Let the people get a taste of capitalism, real freedom, and rights for women, and even outlawing straping bombs to their children. If they do not wish this, then they can go about their ancient ways in the desert...just don't push your views on America. I'll enjoy going to church on Sunday, seeing women succeed around me, protecting and educating children and not blowing them up, and my plasma TV. They can enjoy mutilating each other and wearing turbans.

I grew up with Lebanese friends, who were Muslims, and were probably the nicest, most peaceful people I have known in my life. They would give you the shirts off their backs & all the food in their fridge without hesitation. They never once tried to convert me & certainly didn't try to kill me because I wasn't Muslim. That is an extreme interpretation of the religon. There are over 1.5B Muslims on this planet - if the Muslim religon as a whole wanted to kill anyone who didn't convert, it would be the only religon by now.
I've also spent time in SE Asia among large Muslim communities. I was treated with nothing but respect & peace.
Isn't it a little bit hypocritical for the Christians on this post to condemn an entire religon and basically one third of the earths population?? Or are you going to try to convince me that Jesus would do the same thing?
is that what they teach at lifechurch.tv?

Some web tidbits for you regarding Islam and murder...
On Murder and Violence:
Islam both allows and forbids murder and violence, depending on who is the recipient of the act.
Allowed:
* "Make war on them until idolatry is no more and Allah's religion reigns supreme." (Koran 8:37)
* The Koran instructs not to make friendship with Jews and Christians (Koran 5:51) but to war against them: "When the Sacred Months are over, kill those who ascribe partners to God wheresoever ye find them; seize them, encompass them, and ambush them; then if they repent and observe prayer and pay the alms, let them go their way (Koran 4:5). "Fight against those who believe not in God nor in the Last Day, who... refuse allegiance to the True Faith from among those who have received the Book, until they humbly pay tribute out of hand." (Koran 9:29) Note: These verses distinguish between warfare against pagans, and against Jews and Christians.[17]
* "...kill the disbelievers wherever we find them" (Koran 2:191); "fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem" (Koran 9:5); "murder them and treat them harshly" (Koran 9:123).
* "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire. Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! So no friend hath he here this Day. Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, Which none do eat but those in sin." (Koran 69:30-37)
* "Strike off the heads of the disbelievers"; and after making a "wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives" (Koran 47:4).
* "Instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers"; "smite above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them" (Koran 8:12; cp. 8:60).
* "O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern against them. Their abode is Hell - an evil refuge indeed" (Koran 9:73).
* "slay or crucify or cut the hands and feet of the unbelievers, that they be expelled from the land with disgrace..." (Koran 5:34).
* "for them (the unbelievers) garments of fire shall be cut and there shall be poured over their heads boiling water whereby whatever is in their bowels and skin shall be dissolved and they will be punished with hooked iron rods" (Koran 22:19-22)

You guys really need to read some history books about the Crusades, instead of believing what is taught in the public school system.
Muslims instigated the Crusades which were conducted by the pagan catholic church.
Mary worship (catholicism) is NOT Christianity.

You know, they are allowed to lie to the non Islam believers according to their religion.
Muslims took over (by force) the city of Constantinople (a Christian city), the cities around it (Most of the south-eastern part of the Byzantine Empire), and Jerusalem. The First Crusade, sponsored by the papacy, were to reclaim these Christian cities and Jerusalem from the Muslims in 1095.

That's why I said that Islam is a nasty religion. They will shake your hand and be so peaceful and friendly, however behind the veil of niceness, is a belief in the teachings of the Koran, violence and the forcing of people to believe in the Koran. I just had this argument with a very friendly Muslim and he agreed with me. It felt good knowing that I was right and staring him right in the eye while I told him that he needs to leave the US if he feels the need to spread Islam. They will try and make you look stupid, try and make you feel inferior and mean, but in the end, they're the ones who have evil intentions.
For anyone who thinks Christians and Muslims are on the same level, I ask: how many Christian suicide bombers do you see? What does the 'radical-**** Christian right' believe in?
You're an absolute fool if you think Muslims are a peaceful people and Christians are the ones who do no good.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing with what you are saying. The teachings of Islam are certainly anti-christian. That said, just based up on our Bill of Rights, we have freedom of religion. You don't have to agree with their teachings but they still have the right to practice their religion. When it infringes upon your rights then you can deal with it.
I understand the frustrating part of it but all of this goes with freedom.
People have the right to say things that infuriate you but you still have to defend their right to say it even though their very message makes your blood boil. That is all part of freedom.
