Taking the boat in saltwater

I too have an X-30 and live near the ocean and it is tempting, but its a bad bad idea. I would never even think of putting it in the ocean. Labnerd covered it all. Unless its a saltwater series Mastercraft don't do it.

Aaa...there's probably a reason they are called "Sea-doos.


Don't let the kname fool you. I've owned close to 30 personal watercraft over time. Don't get me wrong, I've loved my Sea-Doos and still have one. But, they are a nightmare for salt water use. I raced both Yamahs and Sea-Doos offshore and the Yamahas held up MUCH better. Of course, Sea-Doo always has the performance advantage.
