Mustang owners, any advice?
We have no problem with having people in the back seat of ours. Road triped to some car shows a couple of times with it. Ive sat back there quite a bit when my first was born and she was in her carrier and had lots of room for a 2 door car. I find it easier than most 2doors to get out of and im almost 6ft
Mabey the Canadian stangs are longer ?

my mom traded a burban for a convertible mustang and now she wants a new car. If your putting anything in the back forget it. you will end up using the truck all the time to haul anything larger than 4 publix bags. the flip down handles on the seat broke 4 times from getting in and out of the back seat and she will never use the convertable because it will mess up her hair. the rag top is also extremely loud
The most sadistic bastard in the world wouldn't force his kids to ride rountinely in the backseat of a S197 Mustang -- seriously, there is NO room! When I look in the back of mine, I question why Ford even bothered putting seats back there because they are virtually unuseable.......
Really, getting kids in and out of the backseat of almost any two-door car is going to be a royal pain in the backside -- tell the wifey to put her mid-life crisis on hold, because the Mustang will have to wait until the rugrats move out of your house and into their college dorm rooms......

I'm sure if we get one the GT will be plenty for her coming from an Explorer it will seem like lightning in a bottle!!
Thanks for all the input everyone. Kid space may be the make or break factor on this one even if its just an around the town ride. I'll let you know how it goes.
Yeah that might be a better choice but you got to think like a woman. It's not the power of the car its the look. She would be fine with a V6 stang but I told her if we do it I am not going to get one unless it is a at least a GT.
