HELP! Give me some assistance...

As some of you might or might not know, this past summer I bought a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. I like it... but I just don't need it. To make a long story short, I thought my Ford was going to be a lemon on me and give me all kinds of grief. Well, I didn't give myself a chance to really fix it. Luckily with the help from others, the Ford got fixed and it's been running beyond excellent for the past few months.

I got the Dodge from down in Florida... I bought it off the 'bay. However, it had a bad transmission and a few other things wrong with it. A deal gone wrong basically. However, I dumped money into fixing the transmission with a 24 month warranty, new batteries, filter, oil/filter, etc. Even got new rotors, pads, and tires.

I want to get rid of it for around $9500. No one seems to want it at $9500 with all the stuff that I did to it. It's in great condition and it works fine. In fact, it is like a brand new truck.

Right now I got it on the 'bay and I've gotten some stupid people already... asking me if I will give it to them at half price... they must be smoking pot or something.

Or should I get my F150 and the 2500 and trade them in for a new F250 diesel?

Help... please.

Is keeping it completely out of the question? If not and you have the money I'd just use one truck as a DD and work on the other as a weekend warrior. That's just what I'd do though...

Trading both in for a F250 Diesel would be a pretty good option. I'd go that route if I couldn't keep both.

If I were trading right nows the time to trade one in. Truck values are insane, im sure you realize that when you go to get a F250.

Hopefully not but if you wait the price of gas could go back up and down the drain goes truck values. Good for me hence I will be waiting to trade my civic back in on a new F150 for 18k but bad news for anyone with a truck needing trading.

I can keep it... the insurance would be dirt cheap. But I really don't want it.

From advice from friends and family, they are telling me to keep listing it on ebay for a few weeks then make up my mind.

My mom, especially would love to see me driving a new F250 diesel, of course.

Me, I like my F150... it's friggin a breeze to fix.

In my honest opinion keep the Cummins and ditch the F150. The only reason I say this is because the Cummins is easier and cheaper to mod than any of the other diesels on the market and it does not have all the emissions crap on it like the newer diesels do. The other thing to take into account when you are trying to sell it is that no one cares how much you had to put into it to fix it they will only pay what the truck is worth in the market at that time.

I know...

I'd love to get huge injectors, high ram intake, and a VP44 injector pump... and have it lopin'.

Gosh, the more I think about it, the more I love it... haha

Been trying to "find" that "someone"... it's not as easy as one thinks... especially with New York's pittens for an economy.

If you kept that Dodge, you could throw on some exhaust stacks and actually have it look decent....

Why the hell would you put all that work into it just to sell it.

You're eBay responders aren't the only ones smoking pot.
