I don't know what America you live in but the one I live in is full of good families who make less than $100,000 year and every dollar counts. That's why Wal-Mart has been so wildly successful (because they offer the lowest prices). I'm not sure what flat screen TV's have to do with it except most people seem to have one by now. And NONE are manufactured in the U.S.A.

And my observation has been that if people can save a considerable amount of $$ by buying imported goods, they will.

The theory of trickle-down economics has been disproven. Intellectually faulty. It doesn't work.

Let us come together to sing kum by ya.

It's great one side agrees with the other side that they should spend. It's only the American taxpayer in the middle who has to pay for it.

I guess where you are you see a lot of people who buy stuff. Where I live, Wal-Mart, or any big box store, isn't going to be able to supply many of the goods and services that the local businesses provide. Where I live I see many people who understand that the lowest price doesn't necessarily translate in to the best deal. I see people who are willing to pay a little more for goods and services that are local so that their families, their friends, their neighbors, are able to make a living as well.

I'm not sure who's talking about "trickle down". I'm talking about people keeping more of their own money to spend on what they need and want. You're the one advocating for the government to have control of our money so they can "trickle down" tax payers dollars to what they perceive are the needs and wants of the populous.

Wit, you need to do what everyone else here has done and put Real on ignore.

Save you some time my friend.
