I know I can do it but I want to see what kind of work this guy does so I can tell if I want to use him on my next build where I am going to need a good gun smith.

I was all set to buy an SR9 2 months ago.

A very rough safety drew blood on my left web of my had as I racked the slide. The safety caught the meaty part of my thumb area and after that, I decided it was a no go, walked down the counter at the gun store and picked up my first Glock--A used but unfired G17 with the new RTF.

Be sure to check this out if you are buying an SR9.

If I were wanting something for CCW, I would probably get a Glock 19.

Agreed, can't comment on the SR9 or .40 XD but I love my glock 19. easy to clean and has reputation of dependability. Yes it is built like a brick. Mine is real accurate and easy to hit the mark. Once I get out of this state and to the next one I will get the CCW permit and load it up with hollow points. A real brick is my glock 21c. but in the house it would be like a cannon going off. Just have to remember to close my eyes when i squeeze one off in the dark with the compensation.

As you get older you will be careful about squeezing one off in the dark.
