You have obviously never been up to your eye ***** in snow and had your only means of snow removel break. I have had this happen more than once and had to scramble to find a piece of equipment to finish moving two feet of wet snow before it froze into a mountain of ice.

Don't know about him but I am.

Sucks the truck broke down but at least it isn't too serious. Plowing is hard on stuff!

Yea, I was just as surprised as you when I first started looking around for a plow. The reason I ever traded in my 2005 Dakota was for the purpose of mounting a plow on the front. We bought the F150 without doing the proper homework and found out the hard way after the purchase. So instead of tearing up my nice truck we bought the old F250 which was not in as good of shape as we thought.

Thanks. I'm loving it so far, can't wait to take it out on some trails this summer.

Buying a new F250 was the last option on the list. The reason I didn't do it is because I just can't afford another payment along with insurance.

I have a 60" Polaris Glacier I plow for it. It uses a 2500lb Winch on the front of the ATV for lift. I wish there was a way to have power angle. Getting up after the seat is all warm sucks because it's freezing by the time I get back.

Here's a pic I took of it in the garage with the plow on:

Never was a big fan of winch-operated plows... ours was lever-operated. But, then again, I don't like minute mount plows on trucks, either... personal preference, I guess!

I figured somebody would ask that qustion.

It's a 1986 Chevy Camaro. 2.9L V6, 5 speed manual trans. I took it on the freeway last fall and got it to 75 before I started to run out of power. It's about as fast as my F250 with the 351 in it.

And it's RED...

...ish orange. Came out more orange that we hooped it would by it was better than the 2 town faded pinkish red/red.

My mom bought it brand new in 1986 and we just had it repainted last fall. I learned to drive it finally last fall and will be working on restoring it during this summer. I think one fo the first things I'm going to do is try clean up the rust on the original wheels.

The interior is in BAD shape because of some serious water leaks around the windows and T-Top glass.

Broke? By most standards, yes. Jealous? Hell no. Because I don't like the cold. I'm freezing my rear off at sunny and 30. I know that's a good day where the OP is at. My happy butt will eventually move further south.

I wasn't really on his ***, I just called him "impulsive". Like I said, I don't wanna be in his shoes but just because some things seem bad at the time, doesn't mean I'm gonna go $50k in debt at a moments notice. How many people in D.C. would have 09 F-250s with plow packages if everyone used that sort of impulsive mentality.

It wouldn't cost too much to put a heated pad in your seat. For 35 Watts you would have a warm butt.
