Mileage
Not another gas mileage thread, but actual mileage. FYI this is for people who use their truck as DDs!
How much do you drive, and what type of driving is it?
For me, I've put on ~21,000 miles since March (cluster swap as reference) and 75% of it is HARD city driving. Since I've got ~40K uncounted (old odometer went kaput) I'm guesstimating my trucks frame has a little over 210K, with my engine running close to 65K.

I drive 16,500 miles annually.
The truck was doing all that until I bought a second car four years ago.
Since then the truck does 5,000 a year and the car does 11,500.
I try to drive the truck to work at least once a week.
My work commute is 25 mi one way, five days a week = 250 mi x 52 weeks = 13,000 mi annual.
The other 3,500 miles must be my wife sending me to the store.

I drive 65 miles to work one way, so 130 miles a day. I've had my truck for 6 months and have put 18,000 miles on it so far. My last truck had 230,000 miles on it when i sold it...still kickin'

its a 100 miles each way from home to school whenever i go back but since i put my Bfg's on in the summer its been almost 7K miles. then the truck is sitting at 137K with around 20K on the motor.
Well I guess I don't count anymore since the truck isn't the daily driver...but in the first year I put on aproximately 21,000 miles. I bought a used Buick LeSabre that's been my daily driver since the gas prices went up. I drove the truck today because she hasn't been driven much and the battery has been trying to crap out on me....on the way home I broke 31,000 miles. Truck's a 2005 but was bought new in 2006 so will have had it for four years in just a couple months. Love it but trying to keep the mileage down because I plan on keeping her till she's just a pile of rust, a 5.4 and a seat.
Well I have 141,7-- on the all original drivetrain. up until college, I hadn't really put many miles on the truck, but when I go home sometimes on the weekend, it's 636 mi round trip!
Got my truck in December 2004, with 75,167 mi, since added ~65,000 mi, making that 13,000/yr, roughly.

I drive almost 130 a day round trip and truck has 302,xxx on it now and continues to run great, rust however is showing up at the cab corner pass. side.
Bought the truck on 3/10/2009 with 13,754mi on it. Has 31,933mi on it now.
At this rate I'm right on track to hit 20k per year with it.
I do mostly city driving between work and home and while doing deliveries. Though about 7.5k-10k of that is Highway. There's also a 1k mile round trip from WI to Kentucky during the summer that was almost 100% interstate at 85-90mph. Only time I slowed down was for food/restrooms and of course the terrible Chicago traffic. Was able to make it all 500 miles in each direction on a single tank of gas.
Gotta love 36 gallons of gas.
