after about 25 years of being married...my parents are calling it quits.

my dad is the biggest jackass ever and my mama is finally tired of it..me and my sister (17) have been talking about finding a place to move out to because they would argue about the dumbest stuff ever and me and my sister finally had enough of it...then today my mama said she is looking for a place in Gilmer, Tx (where she works..about 30 minute drive from "home") and i was like wtf why..then she told me.

i NEVER thought this would happen..but she says its for the best so..i guess so

i remember when i was about 12 and they told me and my sister they wouldnt ever get a divorce because they didnt wanna put us through that...

Sorry to hear that but maybe they will be happier away from each other and that will make it easier for you and your sister.Atleast they wont be that far away incase you wanted to see both of em.

That sucks. My parents got divorced when I was 4 and I had no idea what was goin on. I remember wanderin "when was daddy comin home?" But if they aren't getting along, it's prolly the best thing. Good luck Tyler!

Divorce is a very tough business. Just do your best to leave it between your parents.
If your Dad is as you described him, you will probably receive allot of crap if you live there with him.

Sorry brah, yah my folks divorced after 30 yrs. And like Tumba said leave it between the folks, your parents will always be your parents, their business is their stuff to deal with. In a divorce both parents and children need to go on with their lives period!
