Pfft., Brown. He's a liberal that supports Nationalized Health Care and Abortion rights.

I'm sorry, but I'm not "receiving the Message" on that election.

He can sit next to Lieberman.

Maybe now Congress will actually get something Done. I hope...

amen!

Though the founders didn't intend to limit government quite that much. We can scale back a lot from where we're at now, that's for damn sure.

Lets start with less tax for small businesses. Besides Federal Taxes, I'm responsible for paying all these State Taxes: Sales, Provider, Withholding and Unemployment. By the time I pay myself there is nothing left. And now there is talk about raising some of them at the state level.

Then I guess you're as ignorant as the Washington politicians, because I can tell you first hand that Massachusetts did in fact send the message that enough is enough. So did New Jersey and Virginia. When you've lived your entire life in liberal Massachusetts, you can tell when people around you really have a problem with the intentional bankrupting of our country.

Just like you didn't want the neo-cons in charge, there is again a large portion of the country who, this time, doesn't want the progressives in charge. When it comes right down to it, they really aren't all that different.

Either the people are going to take the country back, or the people are going to submit to legislated servitude. That's what the dispute is about.

Because people that actually care about this country and would actually implement economic policies to create real job growth are ridiculed, I.E. Peter Schiff. Literally every time he is on CNBC.

Businesses that get in trouble, including banks, should be allowed to fail and be purchased for pennies on the dollar by healthy businesses.

If we don't get back to sound money backed by something with intrinsic value and do not cut spending, it's over. Long term. Anyone who wants to keep with the status quo (tax and spend), R or D needs to be voted out of office.

Time is not on our side anymore. We're talking years, not decades.

Plus, the Government at some point in time, turned small business' into tax collectors. They have a staff of IRS for tax purposes, but yet retail has to collect and remit taxes on everything we sale. Then we even have to match an employee's FICA, and not even get a deduction for it other than an expense of doing business.

Small limited federal government, bigger state government, and let the "local" government be the biggest. 90% of the problems will be gone.

The federal government has no business in 70% of the things it puts it's nose in.
