So what happened......I switched the channel when the Vikings had the ball at the end of the 4th quarter? (I can't stand watching Favre....much like I do when Obama is on TV.) I know Favre threw an INT...but how much time was left and were the Vikings driving?

Mere seconds. All they had to do was complete a pass and kick the winning FG. Favre threw the int with less than 20 seconds on the clock, then it was OT. Rest is history.

Exactly, that's all the Saints are going to get because the Colts are going to win the SB.

3rd and 15 from the Saint 38, 19 seconds left one time out.
On the sideline is kicker, Longwell. season long 52yds, the line of scrimmage would mean a 55 yd attempt.

Favre rolls right out of the pocket.
His receivers have taken the secondary deep.
There is no one in front of him.
He could have ran at least 10 yards without being touched, slid called timeout and had a 45 yd (or less) field goal attempt for the win.
But, Brett didn't come back this season to watch Longwell trot onto the field.

So vintage Brett, he throws back across the middle into triple coverage, a rookie mistake by the oldest quarterback playing. It comes as part of the package.

Yup -- can't really complain too much because he was a WARRIOR in this game. But in the end, that one killed us.....

He's on the podium right now on ESPN... looks a tad stunned. No tears. Yet.

Looks like yer gonna be wrong on every playoff game this year. The Saints have a fairly good balanced team. The Colts have Manning....and the Saints defense is going to show up and put him out of business.

The Colts are gonna walk over the Saints. The Saints defense is not even close to the Jets defense. The Colts started slow but adjusted nicely to pull out a good win.

The Saints defense was not the deciding factor of the game. In fact, they played pretty poor. It was the Viks poor handling of the ball and the costly turnovers deep in Saints' territory which cost the Viks the game.
